Sometimes it becomes difficult to know if we’re really getting the connection speed for which our ISP contracted with us. NetWorx is a super light and easy to use software that measures the speed of your connection through the collection of data.
The NetWorx is a program that will help you assess the speed of your Internet connection. It can help you identify possible sources of network problems, check and ensure that you do not exceed the bandwidth limit (monthly download limit) specified by your ISP or trace traces of suspicious activity that may come from Trojans or malicious programs. No manual configuration is required to start using this super practical application. Once installed and while active, the program displays an icon in the system tray. The menu settings can be accessed through a click with the right mouse button.
The interface of the program is organized in a simple way so that you can easily consult statistics of your connection in general or divided by day, week and month. In each of the abovementioned time intervals, the inbound and outbound data is represented in graph for easy viewing, except in the general tab in which only results are shown in numbers. The program provides also a ping test and routes that can be done for a selected IP. The usage reports data can also be exported for further analysis in XLS, RTF, HTML, TXT and CSV format. To do this, open the tab you want to export the data and click the “Export” button. Then just choose the desired format.
By clicking on Settings from the context menu of the program, you can adjust a number of small configurations to let it according to your preferences. There can be changed the colors displayed in the graphs, initialize along with Windows, enable notifications on the part of the program, configure the beginning of week, month and hours among others.
